Our main purpose in visiting the zoo, besides entertaining Taylor, was to see kangaroos. Because of the heat they were all just lying around in the shade, and we don't feel like we got a proper showing from them. So, we still feel like we are on a search to see real, Australian kangaroos. The kind that are jumping around.
Can you even spot them in the first two pictures? I can barely see them, and I know where to look.
This may have been the most interesting thing we saw at the zoo. Adrian took this picture from afar, as if to say, "I'm not all that interested in what is going on over there."
We had a great time at the zoo! While Adrian went to his last meeting of the day, Taylor and Natalie got to spend another evening with the cousins - swimming, playing, and dinner. We are so grateful to have such great relatives!

You definitely need to go to Featherdale Wildlife Park to pet kangaroos and koalas now that you are back in Sydney. It is a short train ride away but SO worth it! We recommended it to Dan Reese and Ryan Keller while they were down there and they thought it was great too.
