Kangaroos!

Thanks to those that suggested we go to Featherdale in search for Kangaroos. It is a wildlife park outside of Sydney and it is awesome. They allow you to interact with most of the animals.

The Koala Bears were also great to see for a minute, but they were almost all sleeping (like in the first picture). The only food they eat is Eucalyptus leaves, which are low in nutrients, so in order to preserve what little nutrients they get, they sleep 20 hours a day. They also smell bad. Not the most exciting animal to see.

The park also had some cool birds. The Emu was not in a cage and was funny and aggressive. Taylor was scared around the Emu and made me hold him. The other bird that looks like a colorful Emu is a Cassowary.

We had a great day at the wildlife park and would recommend it for anyone traveling to Sydney.

And I only had to stop and ask directions 4 times to get there!

yea! I'm glad that you made it there- it really was one of the highlights of our trip. Sorry you didn't get to see more from the Koalas.
