To here:

And we have a LOT of flying time ahead of us.
I need your ideas.
How do I entertain a 2 year old for 22+ hours?
Please send me your ideas. Leave a comment or send me an email.
If you've been to said destination and have ideas of what we must see, let me know!

I have a friend that just arrived in New Zealand a couple days ago. I'll have to ask her what she did to entertain her 1 and 3 year old for the flight. But I'd recomend lots of snacks, coloring books, cars and trains. Good luck! And yes, we are jealous!
I LOVE Australia!! We went there on our honeymoon and there are LOTS of great options. You should DEFINITELY go to Featherdale Wildlife park outside of Sydney- they have lots of Kangaroos and Koalas that you can actually PET!!! Taylor would just LOVE it. We also liked going to Coogee beach and the cliff walk to Bondi Beach, the Sydney Opera house (go on a tour inside if you can), Sydney tower, Manlay beach, climbing the Pylon overlook of Harbor Bridge, the Aquarium. We also went out to the Blue Mountains which was stunning but our absolute must not miss is an outer reef tour of the great barrier reef up in Cairns. It is the best snorkeling we have ever done. We also went to an alligator farm and a rainforest while we were up in Cairns. Anyways, I have a ton more to say so if you want any more info/suggestions, just let me know! SO EXCITED for you guys!!!
I remember one time we went on a long car trip and my mom gave us a little wrapped gift each hour if we had been good. (candy bar, bouncy ball, chap stick, etc.) We really looked forward to the gift, so when we started to get rowdy, she would say, "Don't you want your gift in 20 minutes?" and that shut us right up. I have no idea if Taylor is too young for this type of motivator, but it might work.
I am SUPER jealous.
movies! and melatonin!
and it worked. i'm sufficiently jealous. even it takes 22+ hours on a plane with a toddler to get there. have fun!
Go to the craft store. You can find lots of mess free crafts. My girls loved molding clay and stickers. Have fun down under!
So fun! What are you going for? Just for fun? I'm jealous. I flew with Ava all the time until November and I second what others have said........lots of snacks, especially stuff you don't normally let him have. And hit the dollar store for stuff. It's amazing how things like mini post-its can keep 2 year olds occupied forever (and by forever I mean 15 minutes, that's forever in 2 year old land). Have fun!!!
