Day 1: Call Dr. office and let them know my body is ready to start
Day 2: 7:30am appointment for blood test and ultrasound. Ovaries look good and several follicles are starting to grow. Follicles hold eggs, so this is good. If you want a more in depth explanation of how this works, check out Wikipedia. This is exciting news because I wanted to start a cycle last October and I had a cyst on an ovary that prevented me from doing the cycle. No cysts today!
Dr. S will call me tonight and give me the dose to start the drugs tomorrow.
p.s. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate blood tests? I do.

your poor little arms- they get poked so many times! I remember loving the nurses who would use butterfly needles- they were sooo much easier to get in. wahoo for getting started and for lots of follicles, that is great news!
