My Mother-in-law planned the most fabulous girls trip to New York City last weekend.
It was so much fun to get to know my sister-in-laws better. We shopped, ate, went to Mary Poppins on Broadway (a disappointment by the way), and stayed up late talking. No kids, no Dayton boys to try and talk over, and no one to tell us to stop shopping.

Before leaving, Susan sent us with a shopping list taken from Oprah's list of essentials for 2010. With just one rule - NO shopping for kids!
I think we did pretty well with the list!
We had such a great weekend. Hopefully we will be able to do it again soon!

I'm so sad that you didn't like Mary Poppins! I saw it on Broadway just over a year ago and I LOVED it! LOVED IT NATALIE!

When I was in New York with Susan she talked about this fabulous trip that she had planned. I am so glad you guys were able to do it. What a great trip!

So true. Very fun weekend! And I totally agree about Mary Poppins...disappointment. Luckily every other aspect of the weekend was so much fun!
