Traveling

St. Louis
Adrian had work in St. Louis and our friends, Luke and Carrie, were kind enough to let us stay with them. Taylor had so much fun with Katie, their daughter.

We took a trip to the Magic House (Children's museum):

and the zoo:Taylor was tuckered out so he found himself a nice rock to sleep on (which couldn't have been much more uncomfortable than the floor he chooses to sleep on at home). We also visited the Science Museum and park. It was fun to see a new city.

New York City

After a day at home, Adrian and I packed our bags and headed to New York City. Grandma Dayton was kind enough to watch Taylor for us, and our cousins, Mark and Kathryn, were kind enough to let us stay with them. We love the city and had a great time. Every time we go Adrian dreams of moving there someday.

Our purpose in going was to attend the wedding of Talmadge and Anita Eyre. It was fun to see them so happy together.
But we made sure to have plenty of other fun too! We went to the show "In the Heights," which we loved. We got lottery tickets and only had to pay $26.00 each!

We were also able to go to a recording of David Letterman. Tony Blair was the guest, which was awesome.
Other highlights included a tour at the Tenement Museum, lunch at Katz, and hanging out with Mark and Kathryn.
Unfortunately the fun had to end and Taylor needed parents, so we are back to real life (at least some of us). And it feels good to be back in our routine.

Marcus sleeps on the floor every night now too. I am thinking of moving his bed out till he forgets about it to build up some new excitement. We can't understand why he does.

You guys always have so much fun. Sounds like this is a great job for Adrian since it means you guys get to travel more, which I know you love. Might as well get in all you can before Taylor grows up, goes to school and makes it very impossible to go anywhere.

Lucky, New York City is so fun. Did you stop by to see Venus Williams play a match at the U.S. Open?
