2 Years Old

This boy turned 2 today!Great Grandma Beverly sent him a present at the beginning of the week. We let Tay open it first thing in the morning since he had to stare at it all week. He loved the little doll inside and calls it his "people."
With Adrian's encouragement, I made Taylor a Crocodile Cake. With Adrian's help I think it turned out okay. Maybe next year we'll do something even more ambitious.

Taylor got the potty seat he has been asking us for. It only took him about 5 minutes before he was naked and trying it out. I think this just might be our key to potty training.

Some things about our Tay-bear:
-He loves cheese
-He likes to come into mom and dad's bed in the night
-He has a ton of energy and never wants to miss out on anything
-He loves coloring
-He loves playing play dough
-He loves going "running"
-He loves animals and always wants to go to the zoo. He always surprises us by the animals he chooses to talk about. Some of the top ones - rhino, camel, giraffe, buffalo, urial, and many others. He loves sitting on his dad's lap and watching animals on youtube.
-He has started saying "Taylor, no!" when he does something he knows he shouldn't. He also says "I go to my room" when he knows he's in trouble.
-He loves cereal
-He just started to sing. He doesn't know all the words to his songs, but he mumbles most of them and then, usually at the end of a line, he says an actual word.
-He loves reading books. He just learned about checking books out at the library and loves it.
-When I give him butterfly kisses he says "I like that."
We love Taylor and feel so blessed to have him in our lives.

The cake looks great! And in one of those pictures, he looks SO much like you natalie. And btw, did you know you accidentally called me the other day so I got a voicemail of you putting Taylor down for a nap, telling him some rhyme and then talking about bedtime. It was fun for me to listen to! You're such a cute mom. Can you give me lessons? :)
