Day 1 - Lounging, kayaking, and fishing at Spaulding Lake. This may have been everyone's favorite day.
Day 2 - Kirtland and Cleveland. It was a long drive, but it was fun to see the church history sites in Kirtland. We ended the day by going to an Indians vs. Orioles baseball game. It was really fun. Especially for the grandkids who have a grandpa to buy them hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream all in one night!
Day 3 - Buffalo Day! What would a trip to Buffalo be without stopping by the home of the Original Buffalo Wings, the Anchor Bar? They were delicious.
Day 4 - Palmyra - It was great for everyone to visit the Sacred Grove and Joseph Smith farm for the first time. The Grandin Press was also interesting but the kids were tired by the time we arrived there. We decided to go to the Sacred Grove first because it looked like it would rain soon. Big mistake! We got caught in the heavy rain in the middle of the grove. Trees can only cover you so much!
Day 5 - Niagara Falls, ON. The falls were magnificent as always!
