Grandma & Grandpa Cook

Grandma and Grandpa came into town for Adrian's Graduation. We had a lot of fun with them! Adrian and dad went golfing on Friday while mom and Natalie went shopping. That night we had a celebratory dinner in Niagara Falls, ON. It wasn't without drama...

Can you cross the border without proper identification?

It turns out you can, it just takes a lot more effort. Just as we got to the border crossing, my mom realized that she had grabbed her Costco card instead of her driver's license. We also forgot any ID for Taylor. After talking to the immigration officer and then a brief 15 minutes in the immigration office, we were bound for our dinner. Adrian tried to be friendly and make some jokes while there, which were not taken well. Tip - don't make jokes with immigration officers. The trip back was more uneventful - I guess we just look like honest US Citizens.

After crossing, we took some pictures at Niagara Falls

While Adrian racked up international roaming phone charges closing business deals (we hope)

Looks like fun to have mom and dad there! Don't you wish you lived closer so you could have more moments like that? We do! But visitng you is more exciting for them than visiting us, so I guess it works out! I'm glad you had fun!
