Taylor's first attempt at solids was at the beach in Mexico. Two hand fulls of sand (you can see the sand on his hands in the pic). He didn't seem to like the sand as seen in the photo above, but he seemed to digest the sand okay...
But when we introduced solids for real, it wasn't the same story. As you can see, Taylor loved the rice cereal, but his stomache didn't and he ended up crying for 3 hours straight in discomfort. So when it comes to solids for Tay, better luck next month.

He is so cute! i love his face in the first one. i think it is normal for it to take a day or two of getting used to solids at least for my kids it has. We started them a little older though (Garret was 5 months and Spencer almost 6)
Oh, poor kiddo. Having a mouth of sand is awful. Good luck with the solids! So fun to have them get older.
